I had the sweet privilege of meeting Maria this summer during our cross-country journey. Within minutes, I felt as though I had known her all of my life and was spending time with a cherished friend. Let me tell you, that is a rare occurence and unexpected gift for someone who is as shy and introverted as I am. But it speaks volumes about Maria.
She is warm and beautiful and genuine and filled with an exquisite joy that bubbles over to those around her. Her laugh is so generous and heartfelt that you can't help but feel good and loved in her presence. Being with her is like walking in sunshine. Truly.
I am so blessed to call her my friend.
