Yesterday at basketball practice, a young feller approached one of Elena's friends and asked her for her name.
This bold young girl turned to him and announced in a dignified air, "You may call me Cordelia."
The boy gave her a puzzled look and grunted, "Huh?"
With a sigh, "Never mind. My name is Katie."
ETA: Apparently I missed a few details of the story. It was a coed practice and the boy was guarding Katie on the court when he asked her name. This makes it even funnier, dontcha think?
