Last night I received the following update from Betsy's dear mother:
It is finished. At 9:50pm tonight, Elizabeth Anne Clare Bruton had a peaceful death, and is now resting in the arms of our Lord.
Please continue to pray---for the grieving parents of this sweet soul, for their other children who miss their sister, and for all who love this little girl. They face a long road of healing, which only our Lord can enable.
And yet...this brave little warrior has been released from her hard fought battle. Knowing this brings comfort to my heavy sadness.
Eternal rest, grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

How sad...may she rest in peace and may she be hugged by her Blessed Mother until she is reunited with her earthly mother.
This family is in my prayers.
I have been getting email updates about Betsy and this morning I was so sad to hear this news. She is such a beautiful soul. I will be praying for her family.
