As the mother of children through adoption, I always rejoice mightily when a waiting child and a loving family finally find each other. A very special lady named Helen, who blesses so many of us each day through her Mary Vitamin, has welcomed a precious little girl into her life this week. If you haven't already visited her at the Castle of the Immaculate, I encourage you to go and celebrate the homecoming of this sweet baby with her. And after that, please take a few moments to pray for all of the children throughout the world who are still waiting for their forever families.
One more thing...as long as I'm handing out spiritual direction...please remember to pray today for all of the veterans and their families, those brave individuals who have sacrificed and risked so much on behalf of us all. May their dedication and courage inspire us to greatness.
