Please join me in praying for a sweet little girl named Betsy and her family. She is fighting for her life right now, following her second heart transplant a few weeks ago, and her parents are carrying the heaviest of burdens. How my heart aches for all of them. Today is Betsy's fifth birthday.
Heavenly Father, Creator of Heaven and earth, we place dear Betsy and her family into Your loving and merciful hands.
Remember, O Most Gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, we come unto thee, O Virgin of Virgins, Our Mother. To thee we come, before thee we kneel, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not our petitions, but in thy mercy, hear and answer us. Amen.
