Plumb Tuckered Out

I haven't abandoned this space already, although I'm sure it wouldn't come as a surprise if I had. It's actually a surprise that I haven't.

Since Thursday, we have lived through eight hours of co-op, four hours of a track meet, two birthdays, two overnight guests, one slumber (ha) party with thirteen teenage girls, four demonstrations (including one unexpected explosion) at a science fair, a three hour live performance of The Sound of Music, and too many miles to count of driving hither and yonder.

I know that I should remember rule 12 and be grateful for the fullness of this life. I know that someday this hectic pace will be over and my life will be far too quiet and dull. I know that then I shall yearn for now.

But right now...I'm just tired.
