Thankful Thursday

Here's my list, short and sweet. This is good for the soul.

I am thankful that Lowe's sells miniature sample cans of paint to test new colors, because I've already tried three shades of golden yellow and three shades of burgundy and still haven't gotten either one right yet.

I am thankful that I did get one color right...on the very first try. Chestnut brown for our family room.

I am thankful for a new puppy that is playful but not too wild, affectionate but not too needy.

I am thankful for three children who are happy to take the new puppy out for walks and potty breaks.

I am thankful for three other children who are happy just to take turns feeding the new puppy.

I am thankful for a husband who settles cat fights over dog names, so that I don't have to referee yet another event.

I am thankful that the commissary (where military folks buy their rations) is on the way home from my husband's office. Sort of. And he's willing to stop.

I am thankful that coffee and cappuccino refills are only 69 cents at Speedway.

I am thankful that I deleted my Sitemeter. I feel a sense of freedom in not knowing.

I am thankful for sisters who can make a mountain out of a molehill planning meals for a family reunion and still continue to love each other.

I am just plain thankful for my life, which is so incredibly blessed.
