In a lifeless kitchen, a Northern Oriole whistled, marking the sixth hour after noon.
She said: Hey, um, are you waiting for me to make you a special anniversary dinner?
He said: I was about to ask you the same thing. You sure are presumptuous with your expectations.
She said: I'm not expecting diamonds or a trip to Hawaii. Do you want to just go to that Thai restaurant we've been wanting to try?
He said: All seven of us? (our live-in babysitter is visiting friends in Virginia) Sounds romantic.
She said: It might not be too bad.
He said: I'll start peeling some potatoes.

Happy anniversary you wonderful couple you!
Happy anniversary!! :)
So funny. Happy 19th!!!!
Happiest Anniversary wishes to you!! We're only four years behind, congrats to you and your sweetie!! Love,
You have a live-in baby sitter?!
We just take the whole lot of kids with us. I've never found a sitter, but my oldest is almost old enough to do the job.
Happy anniversary!
Jennie, our live-in babysitter is also known as our oldest daughter, Elena. I don't know how I managed without one before.
Thanks to all for the kind wishes!
Happy Anniversary, Jim and Diane!
Love,
Renee

Happy Anniversary from one beautifully mismatched couple to another! God knew what He was doing when He found us our husbands, didn't He?
Now if only they'd learn to speak in tongues. ;)
Dear Diane,
Happy Anniversay! Greg and I celebrated our 17th on the 2nd...however, Greg lucked out (as did I, I guess) since we were at a day long party, so neither one of us had to make lunch or dinner and neither of us had to wash the dishes! Sometimes life is sweet!
Here' wishing you at least 19 more!
Peace,
Sara
I love it! And happy anniversary too!
Your blog puts mine to shame - you're my blog idol ;)
Happy Anniversary you two!!!
I know you are going to be "23" soon as well so enjoy it while you
you're young!
So great to hear from you, and yes, since I have ALL this time now, I'll be writing much more often! Get ready!
Love you! Lynn
I can't believe your husband. He is the biggest stick-in-the-mud I've ever met...going out to eat with 5 kids might not be romantic but it'd sure be an adventure.
Sorry this is a month late, but since I know you, I know that being late doesn't bother you all that much :P I hear you went up to Sandusky, call me sometime to chat. I want to hear about it.
It's wonderful to see you back! I've missed you so much. I've been checking for awhile and hoping that you would return. God Bless you and your beautiful family! And, I needed to read the one on being grateful when it seems as though we are accomplishing very little..that's how if feels around here most days!
