Our first day of Vacation Bible School.
Let me tell you, it was mighty hard to leave my little ones there. But the two and a half hours of silence were heavenly.
Here's just a snippet of our lively conversation on the way home:
Me: So, Charlie, did you make any new friends today?
C: Yes. Tickle Torture Boy.
Me: Tickle Torture Boy? Do you know his real name?
C: No. But he kept tickling me.
Me: Hmmm. Did you make any other friends?
C: Yes. The Smacking Boy.
Nice.
